Niykee is a songwriter who, despite her recent whirlwind career has maintained an ongoing routine. Some of her personal highlights included her being picked by Snoop dogg to become his sidekick at the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. Her popularity is constant to producers just getting started. The beats she hears from producers spark song ideas. After just five minutes that I know whether a beat is worthwhile. After that I am able to see the concept of a complete song inside my head and begin to compose. I get the words whenever I'm outside on the deck, playing guitar. It usually takes less than thirty minutes. Niykee says that when she matures as a singer-songwriter and musician, her memories of her childhood are an inspiratoin. She says that even when she's not writing about things that were actually taking place, all of her pain through her childhood and loss of her sister find its way into the music. The memories influence my songs and creates a deeper significance behind everything that is among the most significant things that I value. It is important to me to realize that I'll be able to hear any of my songs 20 years later and be happy with what I wrote.
