Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three children. She was 17 when her parents separated. After their company collapsed and she was left with financial issues. Financial problems were made more difficult by her anorexia and bulimia. Concerning her decision to resign as the singer of ARCH ENEMY Gossow explained that there's a time and place for every thing. I first started in 1991. I realized that it was not fun living a life of nomadism. Then I decided not to pretend anymore, but rather take a break. The group's initial frontman was Johan Liiva, who was later substituted by German vocalist Angela Gossow.
